Whose in these parts other than me? Live in Boulder Creek, work in Palo Alto, ride Hwy 9 in between the two.

I know we have some people up in the north part of the bay, but what about down this way?

Oh, and I kept scruz in there because my wife's in grad school at UCSC, and we head down that way for evenings/afternoons out as often as into the valley.

I live in the Los Gatos area and ride in the hills, do daytrips, and occasional weekenders on the weekends.

I'm in the Peninsula, I enjoy riding the 84/Skyline area. A meet up sounds good!

Of course, now that people are interested, and the weather is amazing, my bike is broken... :(

    Just need to:

    - bend the cowl stays back straight
    - replace the rear master cylinder
    - replace the tires
    - do the steering head bearings

and then it'll probably be safe to ride again... (f'ing high-side + old bike)

Can I tell you how jealous I am? I used to live in San Jose, right near Los Gatos, and was on 9 all the time! Damn I miss those roads. Ever go to the Brookdale Lodge? We never really ate there, but it's a neat old historical place... fun to visit now and then. It has a real creek running through the restaurant....

Bike's torn down, just replaced the tires and wheel bearings/seals.

Waiting to go on it right now:

    - wheels
    - steering stem bearings (old are removed)
    - EBC HH pads
    - Rear master cylinder piston set

Probably have it rideable in a couple days.

And likely not getting to SLO III. Work is crazy, and the wife's Hawk is almost back together from getting a new transmission counter-shaft (and a ton of other little odds/ends).

Been to the lodge a few times, mainly to see friends in bands perform. They were recently bought, and the place is getting a much-needed, massive, face-lift.

The Brook-room was a bit too kitchy for our tastes. But it's a neat bit of history.
