Korea via the international arms black market. The centuries of hatred in that part of the world is really quite overwhelming. Propaganda? They offered to extend the cease fire that only they where keeping, Hamas openly rufused. No back deals no nothing it was all open no propaganda. This fact is not debatable.

Dictate the terms? Who should dictate the terms, hamas who wants them wiped out? Isreal has pulled back as far as they can without losing stratigic area's. Isreal has agreed to stop shooting and killing, even when they where the only ones following the agrement.

Compramise..they gave them gaza and every time they pull back and give in nothing changes. Did opening the strip held quell the anger? No
Has giving in to anything ever helped w/ palastine? No.

Compramise...what would you have Isreal do? Open the boarder and open themselves to attack? they have done this and the anger persists.
Isreal is open to comprimise..hamas is not. They will continue attacking untill there is no isreal. It's hard to compramise when they want you to be extict to the last.

I ask you this.

What compramise would hamas accept. And accept to such a degree that all violence would end.

I don't see hamas accepting anything but the extermination of isreal. They will alway be angry about the next compramise Isreal is to make.

 

I vote that we get together all of the popular (and unpopular) TV talk show hosts, along with the celebrities that have heightened powers of awareness and global perception, and send them over to all of the troubled areas of the world as a "Peace Committee".

It might be worthwhile to include a few politicians, as well.

Israel has been given some tough choices and has made admirable decisions dealing with extremist terrorist. However they have been known to act without the US consult knowing full well we will back them and ward off and all out Islamic uprising that could devastate Israel if all it's neighbors say enough and unite in war against them. There fore it is America's responsibility to reign in Israeli war policy when it chances their very existence.

These massive military actions only further inflame hatred. At this rate the Jews would have to exterminate there enemies in total to obtain a lasting peace. Instead they should build opportunities for these people to be educated and find a future with out violence.

It's hard for me to imagine there is no better answer to stopping these crude yet effective rockets from being fired at their cities than leveling the cities and killing the civilians of their adversaries.

I am not defending everything that the United States or Israel has done in the past. However, if you are shooting rockets at me and mine, you should get ready for the biggest baddest weapon that I have. The civialians that have been killed is a horrible, horrible thing, however the blame, in this instance, lies with Hamas.

I just think being smarter as to the long term consequences of our actions may avoid all the needless suffering that those greater men have to do for our ignorance. Careful with that word patriotic unless you have the one and only definition of what is patriotic.

I agree that Hamas is to blame for this mess as well. But it is a political movement and well as a terrorist group. It astounds me that we cannot inspire those in Palestine to seek anything but revenge against Israel aggression. If your solution is to kill your enemies then extermination is the final solution.

When you think it through as the Palistinians have they realize they are like the American Indians to be killed or put on the reservation so Israel can have it's country. In short they have nothing to lose. I just thought that maybe we had advanced as civilization past these types of atrocity laden plans for expansion of our territories. At some point we need to seek complex answers to complex problems. I've seen this move by the Isreal a half dozen times and it never gets better.

You missed the whole point, it is a summary of the cause and effects with the final result. It is not my point of view, it is a summary of facts. If it is not, which one is wrong, or if it is the future prediction you have a problem w/ can you not see it going that way? You can look back and still not explain how Israel won in '67 against unreal odds and a jeep with 3 people captures a whole battalion. The Lord put the Jews there and said they would not be removed again and so far that is a fact. It is a summary of what is written and there is where the problem lies, people do not like what they can not control. Why did Hitler try to gas them all, he did not want the land, it is a spiritual warfare good verses evil. Let's clear this up now, no everyone is not evil, no everyone is not good. No nation is all evil, however how your leaders are they can dictate your future. The fact is there is not a solution right now, but there will come a day when one comes up with a peace plan that will work for 3 1/2 years. If you are here at that point, you might say to yourself that person I thought was a idiot was right and now is the time to repent and follow Christ because there is no hope in human plans.
