Pretty much. There is a lead (or something like that) insert that falls out after you cut the bars down. The trottle tube on mine was busted up on the outside edge so that got cleaned up in the process. The standard sportbike bar ends fit right into the bars.

 

Great looking bike! Wish i could find a stock nice 86 500.
