    accessory mounts

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but if you're lookinig for mounts for accessaories, GPS, camera, MP3... I believe Ram Mount make a system that bolts into the stearing head.

    RAM Mounting Systems, Inc.

If you're looking for a mounting point for accessories then try Tech Mounts: VFR Stem Mounts

Well, as you can see the previous owner of this bike put a little girly lookin clock in the hole on my bike. I also just saw a picture of a GPS mounted in that hole in a picture of a VFR in the classified's section...

So, I was just looking for stuff like that to put there. The clock the guy put in mine is dead, so I was looking for something to replace it. Besides, I don't know if the clock is sun bleached or what.. but pink is not lookin good to me. :p

That location is typically used by knowledgable riders to install a techmount, or ram mount, providing a stable and convenient location for a whole range of very useful accessories. It is also the primary mount location universally chosen by steering damper manufacturers.

sometimes you can also install a Powerlet outlet there for GPSs or Radar detectors or both
then if you mount the unit(s) to your bars, you don't have to worry about the cord getting hung up on anything or whether you have enough cord to go lock to lock on your clip ons

Powerlet for sure, unless you are running camera or GPS or similar that you want on a post there. I made my own mount for the GPS, and use that spot for the Powerlet kit.

I have a ram mount installed there for my gps and another ram mount on my clutch resevoir for a camera. The ram mounts work great and look pretty clean when you dont have gear on the bike.
