Jan 3rd ride Ortega Hwy

OK, It's official, Saturday January 3rd myself and a couple of friends are going to go on a ride from Lake Elsinore to San Juan Capistrano and back on the Ortega Hwy (74). We will be meeting in Lake Elsinore and riding from there, meeting place and time to follow. My 2 friends are going to be on Harleys so hopefully that won't be a problem for anyone. I already have a couple of people that are interested from VFRworld so it should be a fun time! I'm new to all of this so hopefully you guys won't mind waiting up for me. Anyway, if anyone is interested, please PM me. Happy Holidaze and I hope tons of people respond to this thread!

my buddy(r6) and i will meet you at the chevron station. we'll try to be there at 9am (we're coming from carson).

 

This just sucks for us here stuck in the PNW. and just possibly a lot of other places. I was looking/ hoping to get out for if nothing else a ride around the long block, But No! it's 35 and raining!! Happy new year yea my ass. By the way take some photos. it could help the ones stuck inside making us feel better

 

Definite maybe here. I've had the 98 vfr for a couple months now and not had a lot of seat time. Chuck are you coming 215 to the 74? ~mike

I try to contact SCAR but no one response. I was going to meet you all at San Juan Caspitrano. But decided to solo to meet you guyd at the gas station.

Well, the time is rapidly approaching for my 1st Annual (and 1st ever group ride) Ortega Highway ride. Weather looks like it might be a little chilly so dress warm. Just went and bought some winter riding gloves and a mirrored visor so you guys can't see my eye-balls poppin' out of my head... Anyway, I figured we could stop and eat on the other end of the ride in San Juan Capistrano there's a Denny's that Scubalong gave me the address to. Also if anyone can't make the 9am meeting time or for whatever reason wants to meet us on the other side here's the address and map, but regardless our original place and time is not changing (see above for details)...
