VF750 gauges on a VF500F?

    Has anyone ever done this? Are they the same size (upper fairings and all)? The benefit of a fuel gauge would be quite handy.:smile:

    Boy, that sounds like a lot of work. The ratios of the speedometers are different so you'd have quite a mess getting that to work. There is no fuel level sending unit in the 500 tank so again lots of hassle. The tach would probably work ok. The 700's are a lot bigger than the 500's in that area so you would probably also have difficulty just getting the thing to fit right.

    As you can tell I wouldn't do it, but if you really want a fuel gauge that bad then go for it!

    Just watch your millage. A gear indicator would be more useful, but not by much.
