I just had to post this here for the VFR crowd....hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries.
    Parts from a CR125, CR500, VFR800, and RC51.
    My new (almost completed) CR5V:

Wow. looks like an interesting project. Wonder how it will ride and handle.

I see the frame and the swingarm from the VFR. Anything else?

Swingarm and wheels, yes; frame, no.

Hail Frankenmoto! I think that's a cool as hell! I'm interested to see how the chain alignment works out for you and if the extra weight of the swingarm, related components, and the wheel proves to be a hindrance.

Good Luck and can't wait to see the completed project! PDC (pretty damn cool) idea.

Yep Rev...it's the stock 125 frame. I narrowed the SA, but didn't mod anything on the frame's pivot area.
If I want (I won't) to put back to MX status, the stock arm will go back on.

All I have to do is put the sprocket inboard of the hub and it'll line up fine.

Weight? Not sure. It needs to me torn down for more welding. I'll weigh the VFR donor, and I'll weigh my spoke set up and compare. I'm sure the VFR donor is heavier, but I don't think it's by much.
Total weight should be in the 240/250 range and I'm not sure what the power output from the 500 is, something like 70ish.

    I can't wait...it'll surely be a wild ride.
