What I REALLY want to know is this... matter displaces water, correct? So, when they talk about the oceans rising an inch or so a year, is that because of the boats and garbage we place in them? If all countries were to agree to remove ALL garbage, boats, ships, jet skis, shoes, clothing, used needles, and everything that is not naturally in the ocean, would the waters then receed?

 

They all know volcanoes add acres and acres of land each year. That land pushes the water away from it and over the lower land elsewhere. There is an inhabited island somewhere off the east coast of the US. They have been tracking it water level for decades and watched it rise long before the global warming craze.

And by they, I mean everyone else but me.
