Here we have yet another case of how tiger tiger is not just a silly thread, but asks and answers important life questions

Building a sandwich is part of a rite of passage into manhood, and should be taught at University level, along with all forms of Barbeque.

Having traveled a bit, I can say that just the incredible number of ways a sandwich can be made, let alone how things can be cooked on the grill, would warrant extensive personal research for any true VFR man

Regional considerations aside, I notice Randy that you have not even mentioned lettuce, tomato, or onion. An oversight on your part perhaps?

Or maybe your mayo/mustard dilema stopped you dead in your tracks, loathe to consider further ingredients until your conundrum could be resolved.

When I reach such an impasse, I find that reaching for another beer, and perhaps a shot, rocket me past the sticking point, and I either fire up the grill, or make a burrito

And salting your beer is being unnecessarily mean to your beer

Thank you, bear for your comments.
    Let me say this...
    "This."

And now for something completely different.
I would rather eat a sandwich naked then put mayo on it.

I am building a sandwich here Pal. Not a salad. But I think you and I are on the same page for a remedy for any situation that seems impassable.

A nice shot of Drambui goes nice during such times but always beer, no salt, no juice.:party2:

Doesn't matter how you dress when you eat a sandwich. Long as it is washed down with a good brand of Amber Nectar. But if choose stand naked to eat your sandwich, go atter boy. Close the blinds. Grandma is watching and having flashes.

you can do all the prep in the world.with mayo, without mustard ansd so on, if the meat is not stacked correctly all is for naught. meat placement is critical in the making of a good sandwich. stack the meat wrong crappy sandwich, stack it right , then you have a fireworks display n your mouth and your taste buds will be singing your praises for many months to come

You are correct, cruster. If the meat is stacked clumsily it will shoot out the back of the sandwich upon first bite. Also, and no less importantly, the order in which you stack...
taste/flavor/type/shape/thickness/texture, etc. must all be taken into account.

Don't forget how the meat is cut.. if its not perfectly even over the entire slice, then it is not worth putting in the sandwich. That also goes for cheese, unevenly cut chesse tastes awful and is an affront to civilized society.

All this talk about how meat is cut and stacked and explosions makes me think of another activity that I won't post out of consideration of those who may have tender eyes looking over their shoulders.:ncb::stripper:
