This is supposedly an educated individual. Everyone told her it was a scam. She deserves everything she has gotten out of it.

she works @ a hospital? thats freaking scary. i guess if you e-mail 1,000,000,000 people you will find one idiot.

 

In all actuality, you would probably find a metric assload of idiots, however, you're only looking for that one, very special, idiot...the one with $400,000 of disposable income...........

 

Duh!!! She probably uses Slick 50 too!

 

If I were the husband she would have a $400,000.00 life insurance policy taken out on her. :flamer:

 

okay i read the article and for some reason, i think the "scammy" is actually the "scammer". this is way to far fetched to be true. everyone with an email account and a tv knows of this scam. maybe she figures someone will have a good heart in these hard economic times and send them a few dollars. I remember one person went on line and asked everyone for $1...you ask a few million people for a $1, and at least half respond, then you are well over your goal...i just dont believe it.

 

I went the same way.

"hmmm if i send $400,00 broken into smaller amounts through wire services to an acount in nigeria that i have access to and then claim I was cammed maybe I can get more cash."
Or maybe though someone would bail her out.

Doubt this...but considering my options.

they are asses and I do fear for my grandparents.

 

My ex's friend is going through this with her mom. Similar situation, except in this case, they are "contests" you need to pay to enter. The scammers are really vile: they send couriers to her house to collect checks and all sorts of guilt-trip stuff if she wavers. Her bank called the friend and they finally had to get her committed to get power of attorney.

I didn't know you could have someone committed to save THEIR money. Wish someone would have done that for me in college. Damn vodka.

Now I feel the need to call my mom and make sure she knows to send any odd emails my way.

This is eerily similar to the same scam our government has been playing on us all these years.

 

Oh the goverment is so much slicker.
Ignoring on all the taxes you pay everyday, the income tax mail scam.

Unlike other scammers you need to spend time figuring out how much to pay, or pay someone to figure out how much to pay.

I need to start a goverment seems easy enough.

 

Dead on Knife and Molsen! Tax payers are scammed everyday and we are oblivious to it because they have figured out how to take the money from us before we even get paid. I said it before so lets say it again... We should get our full pay checks and send in our taxes weekly, bimonthly, quarterly or however but I am sure this would get peoples attention...."I made how much" and "they want how much"? Self employed people already know this lesson...

 

I disagree. Scamming is when you trick people into paying money.

Theavory is when they simply take it against your will. Ironic isent it though. this nation was started because the founding fathers did not want to pay taxes to england. again. a democracy can only last untill the govt starts voting themselvs money from the citizens.
