I added slick50 to my bike and wow!! what a difference......It seems to have more power and a quieter engine, and runs cooler..I put 1 and 1 half quarts (slick50)with 2 n 1 half of synthetic oil (synthetic is the best period.) top gear roll on it pulls smoother, first and second gear just rips through the rpms. It is almost like I put an after market exhuast and comp on it whoa !!!So far I only have gone about 120 miles but no problems and the oil looks super clean through the site window. Wow !! wish I have done this sooner seems like a different bike....:cheersaf:

why would I need a clucth??? I was reading that zmax would also help out the engine by soaking into the metal. It states that you don't need to drain oil just add and it soaks in. I am adding this also after about another 100 miles zmax should have soaked it in more if it works like slick50 maybe I'll get another 5 hp.. awesome !! I have seen a product called engine oil boast it adds 5hp to most cars so this weekend I am going to add this after zmax is soaked in. I might end up with 15 hp over stock by running all the additives and my engine should last twice as long awesome...next thing is to try the high output spark plugs 5hp with those too!!I am going to do that this weekend with the oil boast..I will end up with almost 15-20 extra hp over stock sweet...:cheersaf:

It's official, we have a new version of elf800.

But instaed of personal insults; this version spouts mechanical insults.

I think VFRW is about to get interesting again:)

OR it could be empty's sense of humor does not translate well over the net.

Took everything the snake-oil salesman said at face value, huh?

All of the horsepower claims that these products make are fictitious for the most part. If you have a filthy engine (internally) then one of these "cleaner" products might increase your horsepoer level back to stock levels by cleaning out your engine.

You will probably need new clutch frinction plates at the end of this "experiment" because the clutch is a wet-type. This means that it is immersed in and shares the oil that lubricates everything in the engine. By adding something that makes the oil "more slippery" you are decreasing the amount of friction that the plates can provide. This in turn means that the clutch is gonna slip more and burn up faster.

BTW - there is no such thing as a "high output spark plug". The size of the spark is determined by the coil.

    Tim Allen would be proud!

I heard that if you put Mrs Butterworth Syrup in the coolant it drops the temp 20 degrees and boost your HP by 10! Try it out emtpyskull.

This is going to get good. I guess if he feels that it's working for him, who's to argue the point, it's his bike, shall be interesting. As far as the clutch goes I've always wondered as the synthetic being more slippery why it doesn't do em in sooner, so just maybe the slick50 won't do any more harm, unless you drag race. But anyone that believes changing the oil gives you more Hps well is,,, hey I have an island in the Caribbean for sale at a great price.. I'm sure you can tell the diff, one can easily tell the diff if one was using Dino oil then switch to Amsoil. but there's not more hp. just a better response which can be felt as an increase in Hp. So on this lawn mower thing I need a yard cleaned up big time...

my advice to you emptyskull is to drain your oil now and replace it with a quality synthetic advised for the bike(That is if you have not already comitted HARRY KARRY by now). You are getting no real gains from adding slick 50 or any other additive in your crankcase. The oil companys spend millions if not billions of dollars every year to develop the best oils known to man, do you really think that they would overlook an additive that would make their product better without buying the rights to it and putting it in their product already on the shelf?
