ABS plastic can be plastic welded by a specialist, otherwise a good quality thin cyanoacrylate works well.

vt viffer has your solution, but it smells terrible!!

you need a soldering iron larger than for electronics and need to melt/fuse the parts together from the backside after taping parts securely together on the front side.

    practice on scrap bits first.....

    Fiberglass

I wanted a permanent repair on my cracked fairings, so I bought a fiberglass kit from the local TAP Plastics. (Home Depot has similar stuff too.) Epoxy resin, hardener, fiberglass cloth, gloves, respirator, and sand paper should do it.

I cleaned the fairings with soap and water, then used krazy glue to "tack" the cracks together. (Krazy glue is too brittle, so I just used it to hold it in place.) Then I sanded the inside of the fairing with 100 grit, and applied 3-4 layers of fiberglass cloth. I let it dry overnight and then sanded off any excess bits the next day.

As long as you are careful with the epoxy resin, and you just have cracks and not missing bits, nothing should push through to the front. I was told to stick blue 3M painter's tape on the outer side of the crack to prevent epoxy squeezing through. I ended up repainting the fairing as well, so I didn't use it.

Repair's been holding fine for 4000 miles.

I have used some fiberglass repair products for my boat, and these hold up very well.

If you can't find what you're looking for, try your local boat dealer/marina.
