VP pick of Palin.. what does it mean?

Increasing taxes and spending in a recession is a prescription for disaster, it is not a bandaid. It will decrease our own disposable income, you know, the money that we could have used to buy things for ourselves and our families. Since we won't have money to buy things, corporations won't have any need to keep all of those extra workers that they have laying around, so they will lay people off. Is that good for our economy, rich or poor?

Extra taxes on wealthy people... Great idea- lets take all of the money that they would have invested in corporations to provide the corporationsq with the capital to hire people and make more stuff. Let's send their money to Washington so Obama, Pelosi, and Reid can distribute it to illegal aliens and people who wouldn't work in a pie factory (I love that saying). That is the Obama plan, isn't it? You know, spread the wealth around (especially to people who won't work to obtain it).

When McCain talks about a spending freeze, this is what it means...
***2008 budget for whatever (insert something) = 100 billion.
***Projected budget for 2009 for the same thing = 120 billion.
(Spending freeze means, keep it at 100 billion in 2009 too... do not increase it to 120 billion).

Listen guys, I do alright, but I don't make huge money. I work for a not-for-profit community hospital in one of the poorest parts of Ohio-- maybe the country. We provided in excess of 2 million dollars of uncompensated, charity care for people who could not afford access to healthcare last year. We absorb a lot of losses because we are more dedicated to serving our community than for-profit organizations, clinics, and hospitals. That dedication is reflected in the salary that I am willing to work for and am happy to work for. Could I make more money in private practice? Probably. Would I feel as good about the work that I am doing? Probably not.

 

Maybe RUSH is listening to me??? Ever think about that?

Bob, thank you for the kind response, I have Three Audis and use only synthetic because they are turbo charged but use a synthetic blend in my bikes. Think of the Founding Fathers, did they agree on everything - NO. It takes divergent points of view to get a consensus; more than one person involved means divergent view points. I agree. what i ment by the bandaid comment is that obama is trying to alliviate the budget problem by raising taxes. that may fix a few numbers. but in reality when all of that money is spent unwisely it is going to make the problem even worse and next time they will want even more taxes.

i do not support raising taxes on anyone rich or poor.

as iv said. neither mccain nor obama is good for this country

what is the likelyhood that she would become president? (given that McCain gets elected first and suffer health issues, expected for 72 year old.)

and how do you think she will do when she takes office?

What do you think the rest of the world would think of America when she takes office?

Who cares what the rest of the world thinks? The last time I checked, WE pick our leaders, not the rest of the world. I couldn't care less what the rest of the world thinks!!! The rest of the world is so jealous of us that they are going to hate us no matter what. Let them laugh if they want to...there's nothing they can do about it anyway. BTW, she's nothing to laugh about. She can kick a$$ and take names. They won't like it because she won't be kissing up to them like Obama would.

Whether or no Palin would become president if MCCain were to be unable to fulfill the requirements of the office is a foregone conclusion.
