Saved Reg from a Greyhound bus ride today. He was thumbing it down to SoCal to pickup his bike.

Reggie took the stick while I played photographer.

Seemed like a good idea at the time. Until we started up and he said, "by the way I get airsick."

that wasn't because he was airsick.

It's always the old "put out or get out" routine.:ncb:

But seriously, he got a plane ride?!? Lucky!

hey, I do appreciate the free ride but do I have to take all the ribbing? seriously, though, it was just in the nick of time. I literally was in the line at Greyhound when I saw Dan had sent me a text message saying he was going that way. Now, I don't how you guys feel about taking the bus, but given the options 4 hr bus ride with characters who look even scruffier than me (and we're not even getting into the smells) or 30 min flight in an 06 model airplane. It is the newest plane I have ever flown in. I think there was even an in-flight-movie option on this thing. After I flew for a bit, Dan turned on the auto-pilot and the damn thing took over. It was crazy. There was a parachute, but I couldn't use it, it was attached to the plane so Dan had to land to let me off in Camarillo. He did quite the stunt pilot turn to cut in line at the airport, though.

All in all it was a fun time, and it allowed me to get home a decent hour and watch the debates. I'm still working on formulating my ideas on the brake lines before I write a report. I am also working on the seat comparo between stock/corbin/sargent.

Camarillo! Thats my neck o' the woods. Just about 5 mins down the road. Used to live there as well. Sounds like a much nicer trip than the bus. What did ya pick up, and where?

There was a particularly gruesome Greyhound bus trip for a few lately in Portage la Prairie Manitoba, I think. Some guy just upand started stabbing the guy next to him, cut the head of, and I think he even took a bite out of some of this poor guy. Imagine the other passengers watching as this sicko was sawing at someone's neck, cutting of the head.

"Exact fare please. Leave your knives at the door. Please refrain from eating on the bus."

I rode the bus from Phoenix to Mazatlan, Mexico.
    22 hours.
It had a lavatory on board, but that was where our luggage was.
The baggage compartment was occupied by the reserve driver AND HIS FAMILY.
Not to mention the dreaded Mexican Bus Fleas.
Flying...it's the only way to fly!

Ah, the brake lines. I read about that. I know a guy who knows someone at Galfer, I guess. Says when I am ready for lines to talk to him. :D
