VP pick of Palin.. what does it mean?

What cat0020 said rings very true to me. Some very good points. I am really pissed that a decent amount of people in this country gave us that asshat George W Bush for 8 years. What a total disaster it has been having those incompetent bafoons in office. They have done so much damage it is amazing.

 

I am a registered Democrat, but I agree with the editorial cat0020 posted. The Conservative Movement needs to rediscover its prinicples - which, by the way, were turned into a political philosphy in the 1960s by pointy-headed East Coast intellectuals. Joe Six Pack was a Democrat back then.

 

The reps have changed their tune, for sure. It seems that conservative values are not popular in the NE or the West Coast or the media. I am tired of the reps pandering to the liberals, but they think it will help them win elections. The reps are not as far to the right as I would like, but they are all we conservatives have. I guess it is a case of them trying to make everyone happy, but making nobody happy. The right doesn't like them because they are too far to the left, the left doesn't like them because they are not far left enough. McCain is the more right of the two, so I'll vote for him. Besides, I don't trust Obama as far as I can throw him.

 

I found it quite entertaining that respected GOP conservative columnist George Will described Ms. Palin as the "Sancho Panza" to McChaney's "Don Quixote". Art imitates life.

 

I am pretty confident that Wm. F. Buckley is rolling over in his grave over the "dumbing down" of the Conservative Movement. Sarah Palin epitomizes that dumbing down.

 

That's the problem Eddie "they are all the conservatives we have" is the problem. They are not conservatives, so they should not be voted for...

That's how we got in the mess we-ve had for the last 8 years.

I didn't, nor do I plan to waist my time reading all that crap!! I do think that lots of women are jealous of other, better looking women, no matter their age. The 82 year old woman remembers the day when she looked and felt better, and may be a little (A LOT) jealous. It goes something like this:

If Obama happens to win you will no longer have to worry about taxes, or riding your precious VFR. If he wins and both the Senate and House are controlled by liberals(Socialists), ALL decisions will be made without your input and you will have no reason to try to improve your situation, because you will earn the same amount as the next guy, eat the same dull food, go to substandard doctors, kill our young indescriminately, die young ourselves, and wish until you do die that on this November 4th you had made the right decision. You will have sentenced your children and their children to the grey life of communism, and they will remember you for it, forever. Great legacy, eh?

McCain is not the answer in and of himself, but Obama will surely ruin your life, unless, of course, you have no personal motivation and expect, nay demand, that the Government provide for you the TEAT your mother never offered when you were young. In that case you will undoubtably be overjoyed. Not me, not ever.

As Churchill(Winston for you young guys) once said (paraphrased)" If at 20 you are not a Liberal, you have no heart. If at 50 you are not a Conservative, you have no brain".
