IMO the Micron's sound is fantastic, but way too loud for me. I have the Yoshi and think it's a nice blend of growl and quiet power.

I've had 5 different mufflers on my 00.

    1) Stock
    2) TBR C4 Titanium (horrendous POS)
    3) Scorpion Oval CF
    4) M4 Oval CF
    5) Staintune

Hands down, no contest, the Staintune is the best. The oval CF pipes LOOK better, but there is no music like gear driven cams with a Staintune music.

Yoshimura = Suzuki. You wouldn't put Ford wheels on a Chevy truck would you? Since Micron just stopped producing motorcycle exhausts, you will have to score one on close out since you aren't going to be able to buy them new anymore.

Got to admit that it would double the value of the Chevy though.

I didn't know that Micron was out of the business.

I say it's the one "YOU" like, but like KC, Staintune wins hands down

There are alot of nice sounding pipes out there, however I get complemented on my staintune consistently. On my last road trip, some guy followed me 20 miles to the next gas station to ask what exhaust it was. He said the minute I passed him, he was sold.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Whereabouts are you located?

I have a Two Brothers carbon, and I like it, but it came on the bike. I have heard bad things about their customer service though.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I own an F150 & it is the single worst vehicle I've ever owned in my life.

Somewhere around here, there is a thread about Micron getting out of the motorcycle business.

Not that it means anything, I have HD guys telling me my bike sounds freaking awesome on a regular basis. Considering the Orange & Black Cult are THE authority (in their minds, not mine) on motorcycle sounds, I suppose that is the ultimate compliment.

    Hello Dainius.

Staintune mufflers are one piece from the collector. You will need 3 wrenches to install the muffler. If you are good with tools, it is a 5 minute process to remove the original muffler & install the Staintune.

You will not need to do anything to the engine computer. If you would like to speed up the ECU adjustment process:
    1) Disconnect the battery
    2) Install the new muffler
    3) Reconnect the battery
    4) Drive & listen to the glorious music now coming from your V4 & gear driven cams
