Reading more threads about blown R/R's has prompted me to post this. On the wiremybike.com website, he addresses the problem of the sender wire sending wromg info to the RR. Does this not contribute to the RR's blowing.

who has used the VFRness and has it solved the problem or are you still having to replace RR's.

I have sent for my VFRness after having the same reported problem here. The Goose and I went for a short 120km run out and 120 back on Sunday. Bike ran fantastic. As long as we did not put on brights or touch an indicator. Either one of those and the electrics go GAGA. The indicator will actually cause the bike to cut out.

I'm a happy VFRNess customer. I've put in over 14K miles on my bike since I installed the VFRNess and I haven't had any R/Rs blowing out. I highly recommend it.

MMMM the same man who plans to ride 3 hours just to get to the place where he wants to ride and then he has to ride all the way back. Must have a lot of confidence in the product.

I also have a weekend planned for the 20th Sept to here
    Golden Gate Highlands Nationals Park

I have promised the wife that I will have her bike 100% for the trip, just waiting for the harness to arrive and want to have some confidence for the trip.
