I've bought my VFR this spring. New to the forum and new to the Highly rated VFR. I got 8 thousand and change Km on the beast and am off to Jasper for the weekend on it. Gonna be a wee bit nippy at 150 kmph (my fav cruising speed -- especially around the ripping corners - Long sweeping corners that are labeled a paltry 70 Kmph for the average :bootyshake2: ) but I guess I'm just not average.

I have been through Gold Bar twice now camping. Doing the Cascade Loop. Love that area. Except I am a bit jittery about Wintrhop. Some here undersstand. Next time the wife and I do this I will try to let you lnw. Maybe some day I will do that trip camping off the back of the bike. But the wife is very clear that I would be doing this alone.

 

Hay, nice ride that vfr,leathers Hmmmmm you must be fast! I;ve slowed down a lot,you know age and all,but like to kick it once in a while. Are you not going on the winthrop run? If not we;ll have to go on a trip in oregon in 09 with others riding vfr,s ,oregon has some great roads,little traffic and lots of places to camp! later ; Richard

 

I was supposed to go but a back issue put the brakes on that. I have parked the steed for now.
