So I guess since there is no reply that all you who have the aftermarket seats have no Idea the difference it made?

The difference is in the foam and how its shaped. The higher grade of foam is "closed cell" so it will not compact the longer you sit on it.

I have a Corbin Gunfighter. It is the same height as the stock seat, but it is a bit wider which actually makes it seem like it is a bit taller when you put your feet down (your legs are a bit wider).

Ok, I'll bite. I did this a while back. I took both seats and laid them side by side (stock and sargent) had my wife sit on them to show the differences in sitting and where her feet were. It should be found from a search for seat heat sargent, but I'll double check it...

here's one thread discussing the differences: http://vfrworld.com/forums/modifications/15063-sargeant-corbin-seat-height.html

here's another thread about seat height comfort, etc... http://vfrworld.com/forums/general-vfr-discussions/7719-seat-question.html

and here's where I put them side by side to compare. Note I do ride a 5g, though... I could probably get a comparo of the 6g from someone this weekend, though. Linky---> http://vfrworld.com/forums/sixth-generation-2002-2007/4345-seats.html

I gotta disagree with that - Corbins always feel lower than the stock. Stock seats make me feel like I'm sitting on top of the bike, Corbins make me feel like I'm sitting "in" (down) the bike.

I would agree with you when riding, but my corbin makes it a bit harder to get both feet planted on the ground compared to the stock seat. (I'm 5'9")
