This is probably the only VFR forum I hadn't joined & due to wanting to view some pics on the site decide to join up

My current road machine is of course a VFR which has a number of mods but the most notable or evil depending how you look at it is the 2006 R1 front end.

I also enjoy the track allot & was using a 1995 VFR750 (that's where the standard Vtec front end went)

Decided I enjoyed track riding so much that I upgraded the VFR750 to a 2004 CBR1000RR (it's still a Honda)

Got to love the blue chain!! What did you do to get it like that and not come off every cleaning?

I ordered the chain with the color option was about $25AU more than standard gold. The coating doesn't seem to come off but I don't need to scrub the chain much due to cleaning it with a rag & kero every few rides.

The rear shock is a Wilbers 3 clicker race shock.

The R1 front end is 2006 but uses a CBR954 lower triple clamp, RC51/SP1 top triple clamp & convertibars. The main pain with the mod is rotor spacing as R1 rotors mount flat & using the Honda triples you have to space them out 2mm each side.

The improvement is really summed up by reclassifying my bike as full sports (not sports tourer) but retaining the comfort level of the VFR. The link brakes are bloody good but the front radial brakes it has now with compression adjustment on forks it stops much faster.

Is that 2 mufflers stacked on one side or do you have 4?

Looks like he has the laser exhaust, so that would be 4 tips.
