An otherwise sharp looking bike ruined by a :bs: rear fender. The exhaust looks very cool. I like the GT version of the two but, I think I'll be hanging on to my rare yellow 5th gen.

So it looks like there is a sport oriented VFR and then a sport touring oriented VFR GT?

Hmmm, I'm not sure how well having 2 iterations of it will fly. Don't most VFR owners choose a VFR because it's a great mix of sport and sport touring? I know I did. I can already see future owners of either model modding theirs to make it more like the model they didn't buy.

Just sell us the GT and make the exhaust movable up and down like Ducati did with the ST2. Be sure to keep the comfy seat and (what looks like) the adjustable windshield from the GT.

Oh, and isn't it time for a new rear wheel design after all these years?

Looks like they kept the single swingarm, very nice! And I have to say I do like how it looks compared to the VTEC model. Aggressive, but not too mean looking. With the rear fender I hope it's easy to take off!

    WoW!!

    Gorgeous imo!

I think this is Hondas jewel. It looks big and beefy, is a high CC'd bike and will be probably one of the most comfortable rides out there! I'm sold.

I was thinking of a ZX14 being my next bike but nope...as long as this is bigger than those tiny CBR's, this will be my next one. I just cant stand "light" looking bikes...even if they have more speed and horsepower than you could ever use. I like my bikes like my girls...sleek, sexy, yet having a muscular look on them too that seperates them from all the other girls :vanity:

09 VFR is my new wallpaper.

The most interesting thing about this bike is what you can't see - the engine.

Otherwise it looks like just another UJM. Not special at all. But I could see it appealing to anyone looking for a ZX14 or similar.

I would like it a lot better if they had kept the underseat exhaust.

hold on push button shifting....Shaft drive?
    intresting.
    150hp, v5..nice..
Just not sure i'm a fan.
was sort of wanting same comfort as current but more agility and more speed..
thus a lighter 130hp 800 would have suited me.
just can't get over both a shaft drive and electronic shifting.

heard it was nice on the fjr but without trying it...
Also not sure i like the nose looking front end, i really do like the 6th gen front end with 2 lows, 2 brights. the mirror signals are nice.
as for the exaust it reminds me of the cbr1000RR i wounder if it has anything cool in it like the cbr's.
the active suspension looks neat(diffrent article)
I can see being very proud of my 6th gen.

One aditional picture that tells you nothing available at http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2008/august/4-10/aug0708-alpinestars-casual-shoes/

I can say currently i am NOT inspired, but it may astound me, to do this it would have to match or beat my current bike in every way.

I would have to be more agile
    faster
    more comfortable.

the change to a 1000 means it probably will not be more agile...i am willing to be wrong.

also on page 7 there is an artical on how wearing full leathers is bad....i'm sure that will win some votes from the folks here...you can be fully protected and cool...thats what vents are for.....tard.

can say that artical ensures i will never buy MCN mag....who would support less safter and publish that artical....is this hog weekly?

Like I said the other day, we can only hope that this may be true. You never know. I think I'd go with the sport version, but it would surely be interesting to see what options are available on either bike.

I won't hold my breath but I do have my fingers crossed!
