tips for hills?

    hey new rider here. any tips for starting off on a hill? almost sh*t a brick when started rolling back. popped the clutch n bounced a bit. do i use the foot brake on the hill?

    get comfortable with using only the left foot when stopped. that way you can use the rear brake on hills.

    Unless you're really good with using your fingers on the front brake, while easing the throttle on, use the rear brake while starting out on a hill.

    Don't give it too much gas or else you will jump around a bit while starting out.
    Practice will make perfect!

    It's safer that way yes, until you get the "throttle/brake with the same hand" down to a science. It just takes practice. Anyone who drives a clutch of any kind had to go through it. It's just that on a bike when you blow it, it subtracts so much from your "cool factor".:spy:

    Use the rear break. and stand on your left foot.

    When it turns green give it case and let out the clutch and ease off the break, don't worry about to much gas(within reason)
    DO it smoothly and it's fine, as you do it more you'll get a feel for it.
