    Hello,
I am new to the VFR world and I have been researching this bike for a couple years. I currently ride a suzuki bandit 600s because thats all I could afford at the time. I am now in the position to buy a used VFR (98-01). My only question is will I fit comfortably? I am 6'6" and about 210 lbs. I fit comfortably on my current bike which is pretty small and I have sat on a couple VFR's but have not had a chance to ride one for a extended period of time. Is anyone my size riding a VFR? Any help or comment would be appreciated. I know your going to say buy one and try it but I don't want to spend a bunch of money and not fit. Thanks

My brother is about the same size as you and has ridden my 2003 a couple of times and said it was comfortable. However, they were not long rides, about 30-50 miles, so I can't say anything about touring.

Yea I'm only 22 years old so I am pretty nimble and dont have any issues with riding for the most part other than a sore bum sometimes. If worst comes to worst I will just cut some of my legs off! It would be worth it for such a great bike!!!

Yeah, you'll fit. I'm close to your size, 6'5'' and 240. I commute everyday and I've done a couple of overnight trips. Their are some bigger bikes that would fit better but you'll have no problem on the VFR.

    Hey BP-
I'm 6'6" and weigh about 230 and I'm staring down at 50 years old and I have no problem. We did about 260 miles around some very twisty roads in the Sierra last Saturday and it felt great! Go fo it-

    Hey Longerfellow,

He suggested a couple posts back he was 22 and still nimble. I guess us old buggers are supposed to be too cripples up to ride these things. I guess we will have to forgive his young years:hitit:

I am only 5'11", 205. And I can rest my belly on the tank quite comfortably!

I'm 6'3"200lbs,the vfr is the ride for the larger sport/tourer.I'm kinda a sport guy but the cbr's were a little cramped. The vfr is perfect for me.300miles is very comfortable, more, well sitting on anything for 6 hours can make my ass hurt. The vfr is a larger framed sportbike,as well as being a 4 cylinder ,high tech, moving machine. If I could find a female like my vfr ,I would marry. She would'nt need to be red.You will make the right decision.

Seriously, not to worry. I was poking fun at you, and me for that matter. You will see some of us have a bit of a different sense of humor but thank you for your concern anyways. Just goes to show gentlemen ride VFRS too.

And I can't even run circles around anythin in my own mind cause I have lost that a long time ago.
