Nothing like roadkill kabobs and cheap prostitutes.
    Epic ride...
Only Stuka might be able to top that.

    UPDATE:

Reg and Brian made it just south of Cresent City, CA last night and camped out in the Redwood National forest. Apparently, the boys decided against "free" camping, as they found a decent camp ground called "Mill Creek Campground" (I wonder how many mill creek campgrounds there are in the US? I know half a dozen myself) which had showers. They are gonna try and see Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox today, and then continue down south. We will see what the day brings for them.....

    UPDATE:

The boys are munching on some grindage (eating breakfast) in Crescent City, CA this morning, and will be heading south on the 101 after the Paul Bunyan stop I believe, then Reggie said they will hit the "lost highway" for a bit, then back to the coast on the PCH heading south. Reggie said that Brian is a little under the weather.

From the sounds of it, Brian seems to have a black cloud following one step behind him the entire trip.:ranger:

Hey everyone! Its SLOVFR and Regie here too. We got in to NCB's pad and what a relief to get off those machines. We went on Lost Coast Hwy and like Reg said " there is a reason its LOST!" The road was terrible and Im sure Reggie lost another 10 lbs with of junk but not in his trunk. I am supprised that my GIVI bags are still on. It got us behind but we made it here to Santa Rosa about 9:00pm. We showered, much needed, and NCB took us down town to eat and the local dive bar, although there was nothing there I would feel safe diving after. We are beat and sore so we will get some needed rest. I am not feeling 100 % but doing ok. We will be home soon and have hundreds of pictures and hours of Video shots. Thanks for all the support! Brian

Reg here. Made it to NCBs crib. Thankfully hot showers and cold beer were ready. Good food and skanky (is it okay to say skanky?) women downtown in the classy bar with the stripper pole. Good times. Tomorrow links us up with Silversurfer800 and then more twistys... Anyone have some Doan's bachache relief? I think we could use it... I think we have enough video to make a documentary. Eat your heart out Ewan MacGregor... There will be several gear reviews and VFR comments to follow I am sure. Not to mention my usual ride report...

Should be plenty of massage parlors in that part of town to help.

LOL, You guys survived 3000 miles with everything from treacherous roads to Lady's backing into your bikes, but nothing would be more dangerous than doing a little diving at the Dirty Bird :pound:

I see Norcal has taken you to our "special" place. I was of the opinion it was an intimate thing we shared, but now I know he takes ALL of his bike friends there...
Well, I hope you enjoyed it!! He is such a slut for a guy in leather!!!!

Now THAT is gary without the R.

So far only RW, Reg and Brian have had the opportunity to be allowed a look into the hallowed ground that is the Dirty Bird. Drewl, you and Double S can't go there as you have to stay up past 10:00 to go in the joint and they don't serve Shirley Temples :bootyshake2:

As for Brian's comment, I thought Brian was a little tougher than that.....he wouldn't even have a drink and spent his time outside photographing some dudes MG :hangme: (WTF?) Whaddya friggin' skeered? Reg and I were provided a free, impromptu, stripper pole dance by a couple of aspiring local amateur porn stars. All the while...Brian, you were out checkin' out some dudes car?????. :chairshot: :wedgie:

So far R-Dub and Reg are the only 2 soldiers to honorably complete a tour of duty at the Dirty Bird. You gotta be a little crazy if ya wanna run in the dark realm of NCB, you guys are truly in my Band of Brothers. Ya gotta hold a special place in your heart for a joint where the gal behind the bar wears an "I Love Porn" shirt and one of the pieces of furniture is an open stripper pole......

Disclaimer: this post is totally in jest and provided only to poke fun at the participants......

I know one thing, if i was at the Dirty Bird I wouldn't be outside playing with toy cars! :heh::bootyshake2:

It was great meeting up with Reg, SLOVFR and Norcal today. Not a great day for riding as the bicycles were out in force in Marin Country. Some of those jerks just wouldn't get out of the middle of the road! Here are a few shots of the day's activities...

Hi all! Made it home just now after having dinner with Reg and his Family. Ill just tell the funny end of the story. So we played who can coast down the grade on the way home and saved a ton of gas. We were playing a motorcycle derby racing game :) I think we were just getting delusional at this point. At any case, after dinner I hop on the hwy home and a few miles down amidst all my lights and GPS I see my low fuel light on! DOH! I look at my milage and it says 221! OH NO! I have not had it that high and the light on. I had 2 chooses 1. Turn around and be further from home 2. Duck down, drive 55, coast down the grade and hope I can make it to San Luis Obispo, about 20 miles away. I said what would McGregor do? And I said THE HELL WITH MCGREGOR, Reg and I just did 3K miles, Im chose #2. I did the above and stayed tucked in. Felt good to make it to the top of the grade where I shut her down and coasted, lights on of course. Had a head wind so only got up to 67 mph near the bottom. Fired her back up and made it to Chevron. It took 5.173 gallons and the manual state the gas tank is 5.5 gallons, too close for me! Got home and left the living room lights on! Good thing they are florescent. And my car cover is MIA, I guess the wind blew it off, maybe a neighbor has it, oh well. Well off to rest and will try to get some begin stories and photos together tomorrow. Brian

Glad to see you made it home without having another, shall we say, experience, SLOVFR. Thanks for stopping by and hangin' out, good to see both you and Reg and I had a great time.
