ChatBox - GET RID OF IT

Along those lines: If you try to care about other peoples' opinions but you just can't do it because you like your own ideas better, are you part of a democracy, or are you a one-person aristocracy? The voices are demanding an answer...

I've used the chat on occasion, but I type way too slow, so I chat vicariously through drewl. :tongue: :smile:

 

I think anyone who has been here for a while remembers when the chat had to be clicked on and prevented surfing the site while keeping up with the chat. NOBODY ever used it. It was a ghost town. Now, the chat is busier than a bee hive, full of info and tall tales. Besides, if it weren't for the chat, how would anyone know when I'm defrosting the garage "Beer Fridge".

 

I guess nobody has told EVT about the camera yet.

New window or not, the old chat room was almost never used until it was moved to a more useful place.

The chat room MUST stay! A lot of rides and get together's have come together because of the chat box. The site is not going to be compatible with every machine; it actually goes completely crazy on my old laptop. The mobile mini computers can't be expected to do everything a home computer can do so deal with it until you get home or the office and understand that without the chat box, this site would not be THE destination for the VFR!
