I definately agree to leave it on, I took mine off for a bit, and I didn't notice any difference in performance, also It was a pain to put back on and I created other problems with my exhaust headers... any way I just changed my tires last weekend and It was so easy with the center stand.
    my 2 cents.

It might come in handy if your center stand needs maintenance...

Your sure being a sort of practical sort today aren't you?

Had to leave the steed at work today and drive a damned Taurus company car home tonight. That sucks!

No, I just didn't want the UPS truck to drop off a package from SLOVFR with an SSSA stand and an invoice in it...

Why did you have to take a Taurus? Bad weather or a substitute for self-flagellation?

In addition to my supervisory role, I manage a fleet of vehicles. This on has a bug that we can't seem to pinpoint so I took it home hoping the long drive would heat it up and surface the problem. No such luck. So there the steed sits for no damned reason at all. BTW. I'm the one on meds for riding in the winter and through lighting remember?

Self flagellation. What's that. Kinda sounds kinky. Tell me...is it fun Lgn

Track, the side stand & center stand comes off, because I will grind them, & I have race rearsets on mine & race stands for the front & rear to hold it up & maintain .

Around town & touring I leave them on, well at least the side stand anyway's, if I need to oil a chain or rear maintanance the bike balances fine on the side stand. The race stands work better than the center stand @ home anyway's.

"If", I leave the center stand on, it's for long weekend trips to hold the bike up with the Paniers & extra wt on.

Besides the weight loss of the center stand, link brakes crap & put on a aftermarket full exhaust & lost 20 something pounds, now thats a diet (I lost 25 Lbs as well :bootyshake2:) wt loss = more usable HP  & the pig needs all it can get
