LOL. I'm a bit slow on the uptake.

I personally find the whole nickname thing a bit tedious, must be my advancing years. I have enough trouble remembering the actual names of new guys I'm meeting, let alone their "handles"...

Would be down for a ride out langley way or something on sunday morning if anyone's interested. I only have 8:30 am (or thereabouts) til say 1pm, but would be interested.

Hey Jeff. I see a helmet sittin on a seat in that second picture. I remember something like that a few weeks back in Princeton where the poor bugga's helmet fell to the ground and he was in need of duct tape to hold the shield on. Think he would have learned don't ya?

The vacation was cold, but great. Very much needed. I was actually able to sleep for 8 - 10 hours just about every night. Usually I sorta sleep about 4 - 6 and nap just before dinner. By the end of the week I am a wreck. Back to work Monday and the fleet appears to be in a mess. Drats.

That Oregon coast is going to be the subject of a two wheeled ride sometime in the not too distant future.:vtr2:

    I'm in!

Good to meet some of you gentlemen at David's VFR ride. I'm the one that couldn't go on the ride due to my wife's poor timing . (She managed to break a leg just a few days before the ride and I had to head back to the hospital instead.)
I'd love to do some half day type rides this summer if anyone is planning anything. Add me to the list!

    Cheers!

    Al

    Welcome Al !

Good to hear from you. Hope the wife's doing better!
Don't forget to check out and sign up on the "social group" under "community". We were sort of asked to use it as our main thread is getting a little long.

Maybe you can "bank" a couple of half day rides and do the big Baker ride July 27.

    Cheers,
    Bryan

Did the Manning Park trip today. Had a new Michelin Road Pilot 2 on the back I needed to scrub. Went right to the top of the mountain Jeff, past where you guys stopped a while back. The gravel road was slower to be sure. The bike was sure dirty when I got back though.

In Picture 6, look at that spot ahead of my headlight. That is where you guys stopped for your group photo. This was half way down from where I was.

i honestly didn't see any sign of a road gravel or otherwise past where we went:unsure: and js wants me to lead LOL not such a good idea. on last ride i managed to lead 2 riders into a blind corner full of sand all i could think of is if i go down their going to finish me off and it might be painful. somehow we all managed to stay upright.
