I would have them flipped the other way to give more mirror to see traffic in the lower portion...... But other wise they look great like that too...

Now that you don't really need the factory signals now, that might be a killer spot to fab up some kind of ram-air duct!!!!

Ram air would be sweet! Hard part is there isn't much, if any room between the tank and frame. Many bike with ram air, have a hole through the frame to the air box. Unless you could somehow get from under the frame to the air box?

I tried on 3 wires using different arrays, no luck. either they stay on, blink or nothing at all.

The coversion kit is kind of expensive but I'll keep that in my Need list.

Do you get much shake with your mirrors, i bought the same ones but used the mounts they came with and they seem to be really shaky, thinking about using my oems like you did, does the wiring look that bad? agree with the h.i.d. comment, i did mine a few months ago

you can't wire the mirrors to light all the time because they are not wired for that. The OEM lights are three-wire; blue/white, orange/white, and green. The mirrors only have red and white wires so when they are wired up, you will either have running lights or turn signals but not both

yodasmile The OEM's used to shake too, I dont see any difference. As far as the wire, No u cannot see it unless you look real close to the base.

Hi All, new to this site. I have a set of indi mirrors on mine and they shake like crazy. hard to see out of them to be honest. is there anyway to reduce this? Or do different brands act differently?

For those who want to use these, and run the lights AND the turn signals, you just need 4 diodes...2 per side. Connect the light ends of the diodes together, and the other end connects to each of the two power wires (blue and blue/white or orange and orange/white)...this keeps the wires from feeding back.

PM me if you need more info, or want me to throw a set in the mail

yodasmile Ohhhh Jesus Christ! It's been a long time since I posted anything on this page. This mirros are universal fit. In my case I didnt like the look of the mounting base so I swapped them with the factory base. I Love the look. One thing though. After a year of having them on, the LED's do not blink anymore. I also havent have time to check them out, since sooooooo much stuff has happened to me in the past 6 months. I PCS to Ft.Hood as an Maintenance Instructor. I'll be teaching Army Mechanics, new techniques and recovery operations, so I'm really exited about it.

    ???

    Gday yoda6669.
Is it just you and me that believe the mirrors you have added should be exactly the way you have mounted them?
Look at the bottom and outside line angles. They are horizontal and vertical and look correct to me.
And yet all other pics of these added to Viffers show them installed what I would consider upside down or wrong way around.
    Very strange.
    To me anyway...

I have them mounted the same way. If you look at the DOT text on them, you will install them the same way or the text is upside down.

I will put up my DIY thread, showing the whole mounting proces. I also used the stock, metal bases.
