I wave back or, depending on the situation, give a nod of my head.

I'll always wave back to kids whether they're on the side of the road or in a car. They're crushed if you don't - especially the younger ones. It's a big deal to them.

I always wave back! And smile.

Reminds me as a kid pretending to honk the horn when a truck driver would go by. We'd be thrilled to death when they would actually honk back!

I always wave back. On bike, off bike in the parking lot, no matter. I try to be a good ambassador for motorcycles every chance I get. Positive impressions last.

I do this too, kids really do remember these experiences. I also remember being young and how excited I would get when people would do this to me. I always think as though they could be future riders!

Definitely wave back, and a big grin too if they'll see it. I used to be a bike courier, and kids would wave all the time, they absolutely love it when you wave back.

Definitely wave. Especially when they are in a stroller with a hot mom.

    Yeah, they all want me.

But seriously though, the best is when you're behind them (kids in back seat) and they peek around and wave furiously. They go nuts when you give a little wave.

Also being from NJ, I give them the finger. But in NJ, the finger is socially accepted for the equivalent of "hi" or a wave.
