Looking at my watch is not an option under my gloves and jacket.... not to mention a little risky. Years ago, they had self-stick digital clocks about an inch in diameter I'd just stick on the tach or handlebar somewhere. My classic 1986 VFR does not have a clock. Any of you riders mount a clock somewhere? Got a picture? Was thinking about a cheap watch, cut off the band, attach velcro and go.

My suggestion is to get a cheap waterproof digital watch with a large display and velcro 'er on.
Did that for my snowmobile and it works excellent!

Aerostich sells a watch clock thingy that clips on to the bars. Super simple. I have one on my Valkyrie. Works like a champ. It goes for about $15.00

On my former and clockless Kawi, I took an old timex triathalon watch and attached it to the bar with a chunk of elastic band. Not the prettiest girl at the dance, but weatherproof and fully functional.

On my Katana I used a cheap analog watch and filed off the watch band tabs. I used double sided tape to attach it. I thought the analog would be easier to read than digital. After many years of use the watch never came loose or was damaged by the weather. Think "TIMEX'.

    Yeah, but...

Does it go backwards above 10,000 RPM in 6th gear?
