I took a trip this weekend on my 2007 25th and got the same milage out of a tank of gas I get around town (210 miles). Are you guys seeing the same results?

I have a heavy right wrist, so I only get about 38 to the gallon around the city. Probably 43-45 on the highway.

I seem to average 35 in the city and 44 on country roads or highways.

The most I have ever seen is 41. Lately I have only been getting between 31 and 36 in town. Of course you have to take into account that I only have to drive a mile and a half to work.

I ride petty conservatively and I get 40 around the city and closer to 45 on the highway.

50+ on the highway, and 45 avg in town, depending on how heavy my wrist is.

I get about 5-10mpg worse in the city (residential streets, low-speeds) than I do on the freeway, and somewhere in the middle when in the mountains (depends on how tight the turns are, and how high rpms I'm running).

But my bike's an '86, so it's a bit different.. :) 43's mostly what I see when running a 50/50 mix of freeway and mountain twisties.
