sorry Bryan, the actually route is hwy 1 to Spencers bridge then hwy 8 to Merritt hwy 5a to Princeton then crowsnest back to hope about 600 km or reversed due to a possible shower in afternoon in manning park. will be decided over breakfast. leave Ricky's restaurant @9:30 in chilliwack.

West on Hwy 1 to Chilliwack. Right off freeway at Cottonwood Mall. This is Vedder Rd. South on Vedder Rd. to first Lights (Luckakuck) turn right. West on Luckakuck past two sets of lights and round bend. Ricki's is right west of Cottonwood Mall, before KFC and Whitespot. We may have to kick some of my old cronies out of there though. I used to go there every Sunday morning. Actually 08:30 is better than 09:00. Beat the church crowd.

Hey guys, I rode that route last week. We took #3 to Princton and then 5A up to Merrit, could not continue on thru to Spences Bridge due to a MVA which closed the road. I will set my alarm and try to meet up with you guys. I work until 2am and will be a bit tired so as long as I don't have to lead I will be ok.

Note: last week the police were out in force. the 5a was pretty clean but watch for light colored sand on the edges of the road. the road from princton to manning is choppy right now, large tire swallowing centerline cracks so watch the passing.

Thanks guys for a nice day. nice meeting you Ryan and a special thanks for leading the group!!! your an awesome pace setter. I have to say hwy 8 was the highlight of the ride i only counted 2 cars on a nice windy road will be back!!!!!! I hope the coq wasn't to wet and cold randy & Bryan LOl

Hey guys, great day and a little mix of everything motorcycle. Sun, snow, rain, thunder and my favorite part...hwy 5a with absolutely no traffic. A word to the wise, get more that three hours sleep and be extra carefull in the rain when crossing the rubber train track crossing in Deroche. My bike has a few new scratches and broken bits, thanks Chomper for helping me get settled down and back in the saddle. My arm and ass are sore but the gear really helped. I will be looking for a replacement clutch lever and shifter if any one has a contact.

We hit pretty steady rain on the Coq., after Randy peeled off in the 'wack, I ran into major traffic on Hwy 1 past Aldergrove - I should know better.

I'll post a couple of pics. tomorrow.
