There is a weird beeping noise I hear coming from my moto when feathering the clutch in 1st going between 0-5 mph.

Has anyone experienced that weird beeping noise?

Does anyone know what that weird beeping noise could be?

Maybe the flapper valve opening and closing? I don't know why Honda did this, but the airbox flapper valve is held open with the clutch pulled in when in gear, and if your clutch switch has slightly dirty contacts the flapper solenoid will be hunting when the clutch is partially pulled in. On my bike it sounded more like an electrical discharge sound rather than beeping.

You may be able to simulate this at a standstill in neutral on the centrestand if you slip the neutral switch wire off (down under the clutch cover) so the ECU assumes the bike is in gear and operates the flapper accordingly.

Otherwise there is really nothing on a VFR that beeps, unless you have one of those reversing beeper systems installed.

    (dang ...beaten by Duccman...)

Ahhh. That makes perfect sense about the flapper.
