I thinks it’s possible Rea will go the GP route but if I had to bet it would be for him to stay with Kawai for 2 more years in WSBK.

So if Rae stays in WSBK, who do you think will get Dani's spot, Crutchlow, someone from Moto2?

I think Cal could be the one. If he changes his name from Crashlow. Lol. But on the factory bike I bet he would do well.

I'd like to see Cal on the Repsol bike so maybe a Moto2 rider on the LCR...

Or what would you say to... Jorge Lorenzo?

Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Jorge Lorenzo has signed a two-year deal with Repsol Honda to partner Marc Marquez. This follows the announcement that Dani Pedrosa will be leaving HRC at the end of the season.

The article purports the first hypothesis about Lorenzo’s future – that of a satellite Yamaha team with title sponsorship from Petronas – to be false, before affirming that his future, in fact, lies at Repsol Honda.

That would make it a line-up with a combined 11 World Championships in the team, several of which have been fought against each other in some of the most spectacular showdowns of recent times. It would also give Lorenzo the chance to become the first rider since Eddie Lawson to win races on three different machines...

And make MM pay for it! LOL

So do you think JL can win on three different machinery? That would be something to fill up ones ego! This is getting interesting. Wonder if Cal will be a bit put off by it, if it's true?

I think he will definitely win races on the Honda. Especially seeing that he did it on the Duc. Its still more point and shoot than the Yamaha but probably a bit easier for him than the Duc. His head will be enormous. lol

He'll probably need another helmet sponsor, I don't think Shark makes them very large! :D

People on the know say the Honda is not an easy bike to ride, very brutal and needs to be manhandled and ridden on the edge.
Makes Stoner shine even more considering the problems JL had on the Duc.
On the flip side, if Danny ends up on the Yamaha satellite team, the bike should suit him as he was too small and light for the Honda or the Ducati.

Next years season in GP should be very interesting. The only thing that would top the JL to Honda story would be if Stoner came back to Ducati and whipped all their asses.

JL99 Racing will be the new satellite yamaha team next year....with current year factory bikes and support. That is my guess. Just a WAG, but will he go back to his former energy drink sponsor????
