Replace Google with a Bing or Yahoo ad. Apparently, Google doesn't believe in the first amendment. They are bigger than the federal govt. though but no smarter.

Correct me if I am wrong but only the US government is bound by the first amendment. Companies censer data all the time.

So Google has a moral objection to pictures of beautiful, scantal clad women and yet sees nothing wrong with collecting and using data on its users. Strange.

Well, maybe it wasn't actually el goog, but a member that had a problem with them. We've had sexy avatars for a while now and I find it interesting that all of a sudden there's a problem. Maybe I'm wrong and it's all my fault.

I agree. The avatars are not only racist, they are gender discriminatory.

First Amendment only applies to US residents. No one can have government take action against him/her for opinions or views expressed so long as they are not hate motivated or discriminatory based on race, religion sexual orientation and probably a few other things.

Google is a company. An international one at that. They operate under the premise of free enterprise. They are not bound by the first amendment. They can attach any rules a consumer must follow to participate in their enterprise so long as it is not discriminatory.

Do I agree with their position on this site. Not in the slightest. But I do believe in property rights and free enterprise.

Would you buy a used farkle from this guy?

I suppose the feds could nullify the First Amendment to fit thier model of what Google should be. Google in some countries speaks to that.

Maybe Donald Trump will buy Google after he gets his ass handed to him in November.

Many rights provided by the US Constitution apply to folks not citizens. This from rights in minor traffic violations to illegals who come across the borders aboot ready to deliver and the kid is a "citizen".

I have had trouble explaining this for years. I actually had a coworker that was pissed because the company "censored" her article for the company newsletter. The company can make their employees say anything they want. The company crafts the message.
