    New to me 2014 6V6x4H.jpg Monster 1200.
I love guys that buy new and then sell at a big discount with 2600 miles on clock and wide chicken strips.

If you see me, ask me about my new "VFR". :D

I can flat foot the thing. Can't say that about other bikes I have had any time recently. Need a proper ride.

Got an actual ride today, 80 miles, OK kind of short, and brought it home.
It is one sweet handling Italian Supermodel, and I have the powah!
If you pull your eyes away from the acres of plastic on some bikes, there are lots of naughty bits to look over on this.
It is bike porn when parked. It is rock and roll in motion (but so are most bikes).
Also a mechanical symphony when you fire it up, stock pipes and all.

Sorry Mickey D, I like your breakfast, but I'm loving this Duck. Lumpy V twin power and all. :wheelie:

Nice bike. Put some after market music makers on it and hear the real sound from it.

Only one ride so far, but I have doubts I will feel a need to do that. It is not as quiet as I thought it might be.

Nice story. There is def a family resemblance for Monsters across the years.
After a better ride Sunday, with the earplugs I forgot when I picked it up, it is not so loud after all.
Not too quiet either, especially when the Termis slip ons are north of $1,000.
That's a lot of beer.

For now will continue trying to figure out how to adjust the riding modes, abs, traction control, computer.
The book is less than clear, surprise. And concentrate on revving and grinning.
So far I'd say handling is sharp, but not overly so. Mostly light and sweet, torquey motor, rev rev, grin grin. :homer:

Must have the termi full exhaust and DP up key. But they aren't cheap at $2800. I bought the Termi high mount ti kit system for my Hypermotard and it sure sounds sweet.

I have an S and I love it! My only problem with it has been the passenger pegs getting in the way (size 13 feet), but that was nothing some used foot brackets off of ebay and a couple quick cuts couldn't fix. I had issues with my 821 Hyper, but my Monster has been flawless for 11k. It's nice to have the VFR w/cases for the nasty days and the Monster for the sunny ones.

Luggage rack and Givi trunk, Windscreen, frame and axle sliders.
OK, did not install rear axle sliders yet, if you're looking that close.
We are going on tour baby. Well, maybe a week or so long trip.

Take off your glasses and maybe you'll see a naked VFR.
If so, please see your eye doctor.
Could they have made the frame any smaller?
